PATTERN | TROUSERS SHAAN

The culotte-like SHAAN trousers are knitted seamlessly top down. Increases for the hips are made along the centre lines of front and back. A lovely side lace pattern strip runs down the three-quarter length wide trouser legs that end with a broad ribbed hem.

The sizes correspond to the hip circumference as follows: XS/S (M/L; XL/ XXL) = 34.7 – 37 (38.2 – 41.7; 43 – 48.8)” / 88 – 94 (97 – 106; 109 – 124) cm measured at the body. The three-quarter length trousers are designed in a casual cut and fit loosely. Example: If you have a hip circumference of approx. 39.3” (100 cm), then knit the trousers in size M/L and they will fit rather loosely with a comfortable ease of 6.3” (16 cm).

You need:

9 (10; 11) x 50 g (1.75 oz) Pascuali Re-Jeans (95% Cotton (recycled-denim) 5% other Fibers) in the colour of your choice
Colour of the pictured sample:  colour #23 (Sand) 

Elastic waistband, 1.4” (3.5 cm) wide, length according to waist circumference
US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 24” (60 cm) and 32 – 40” (80 cm – 100 cm) for trouser body and legs
US 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) and 24 – 32” for the ribbings
or needle sizes required to get gauge

Stich holder or waste yarn
Tapestry needle and scissors
