The MOEMA cape is worked seamlessly in one piece in Broken Rib pattern. The first part is knitted from the lower back edge up to the shoulders. Then work is separated into left and right front. It is worked with one strand of Manada and Puno held together throughout. The cape was inspired by the natural colour palette of Puno and the trees from which the colours get their names. Only one colour of Manada is used, which combined with the natural tones of Puno, superimposes a light shimmer reminiscent of quick morning dew thus creating a harmonious gradient effect.
