Origin
The SUMMER BREEZE cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up with an easy eyelet pattern. First, the back and front parts are worked in one piece up to the armholes. After that, the sleeves are knitted from thw bottom up in rounds. Once body and sleeves are joined, the cardigan is worked in one piece up to the neckline. Decreases for the shoulders are made along four accentuated raglan lines. At the same time, the deep V-neckline is created with decreases at the front edges. To finish, stitches for the button band and neckline finishing are picked up and worked in a seed stitch pattern.
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
(XS; S; M) (L; XL; XXL) (3XL; 4XL; 5XL) = (30; 32; 35) (39; 42; 46) (50; 54; 58)” (= (76; 82; 90) (98; 107; 117) (127; 137; 147) cm) bust circumference (measured on the body).
The cardigan is cut short and straight with slightly shorter sleeves.
Example: If you have a bust measurement of 35” (90 cm), then knit the cardigan in size M and it will fit loosely with a positive ease of 3.1” (8 cm).
