Specifications
Origin
The LUIGI shirt is worked in rounds from bottom to top. When the armholes are reached the front and back are finished separately. The backs of the shoulders are slanted to create a seam line that is slightly offset to the back. The body is worked in broad ribbed vertical stripes. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up at the edges of the armholes. The sleeve cap is shaped with short rows and then the sleeves are worked in rounds down to the ribbing.
The sizes correspond to the chest circumference as follows: (S; M; L; XL) (XXL; 3XL; 4XL; 5XL) = (35; 39; 42; 45) (48; 51; 54; 58)” / (90; 98; 106; 114) (122; 130; 138; 146) cm chest circumference (measured on the body).
The shirt has a loose fit with a positive ease of approximately 1.6–4.7” (4–12 cm). Example: if you have a chest circumference of 38.6” (98 cm), you knit the shirt in size M and it fits comfortably with a positive ease of 3.9” (10 cm).
