Origin
The PUMKY mitts are worked from the cuff to the fingers in the round on DPNs. A graphic motif is integrated on the back of the hand. It is worked using the principle of the intarsia technique in rounds, in right side rows and wrong side rows. As an easier alternative to the intarsia technique, the motif can simply be embroidered after knitting (see Part 2). A gusset is inserted to provide the necessary mobility for the thumb.
