Origin
The KALON hat with warming earflaps and ties with tassels is worked top down with the yarn held double. After knitting in rounds with steady increases to achieve the necessary width and the main part of the hat being worked in stockinette stitch, the edges are worked in moss stitch pattern. The neckline is slightly deeper. The earflaps are attached separately.

You need:
2 x 50 g (1.76 oz) Pascuali Tibetan (70% virgin wool, 30% yak wool) in the colour of your choice
Colour of the pictured sample: #123 Sage
US 7 (4.5 mm) DPNs or circular needle, 16 – 24” (40 – 60 cm) - or needle size required to get gauge
