Puno is a wonderfully soft blend of cotton and alpaca.  Both the cotton and the alpaca are GOTS certified and come from Peru, where it is also spun for us. 

The blend of smooth cotton and fluffy alpaca make Puno a great all year round yarn that looks good knitted or crocheted.  It has excellent stitch definition and can be used for any kind of textured stitch pattern.  It is perfect for light tops and accessories like scarves and shawls It is so pleasingly soft it can be worn next to the skin.
